Rachel Wheeler joined the Business & Society Program in March 2019. As Events & Communications Coordinator, she supports the planning and production of all the Program’s events—both in-person seminars within the First Movers Fellowship Program and the Aspen Leaders Forum, and all virtual webinars.
Rachel comes to the Aspen Institute after a year in rural Patagonia, teaching English to middle-schoolers. Prior to that, she worked as an event planner at the nonprofit Help For Children, where she planned fundraising events within the finance community to fight child abuse. She graduated from the NYU Stern School of Business with a B.S. in Management & Organizations and Global Business, and a minor in Social Entrepreneurship.
Rachel is interested in enhancing the collaborative relationships between corporations and charities to create a greater social impact. In her free time, she loves to bake, run, and puzzle.
